Drake has revealed that he is touring soon.
The rapper teased the news during an interview with ETalk, a Canadian entertainment outlet, at the premiere of his new film, "Fear Of Missing Out (FOMO)," on Tuesday, Sept. 15 in Toronto.
"Obviously tour is coming, and there's other things on the horizon, some big shows," he said. "We'll be out 2027 to see everybody again across the world."
Drake surprised fans in May with three total albums: "Iceman," Habibti" and "Maid of Honour," giving fans over 40 songs worth of new music. The last time the 39-year-old went on tour with U.S. dates was his "It's All A Blur Tour," with two legs separately co-headlining with 21 Savage and J. Cole between 2023 and 2024.
The shows came before the fallout from his rap feud
with Kendrick Lamar, which was reignited with the Compton native's verse on "Like That," a collaborative hit by Metro Boomin and rapper Future released on May 22, 2024.
"We'll see you on tour soon," Drake told Etalk.
Drake releases 'FOMO' film
Drake also set social media ablaze with the release of "FOMO" after teasing it for the past few weeks. In an Instagram post, Drake called it a "not so short film."
"This is self funded surrealism," he continued. "A story about making the absolute most of it all in one summer."
The film, which has since been deleted from YouTube, included visuals from music featured latest projects like "Cheetah Print" and "Outside Tweaking," with cameos from Sexyy Red and Stunna Sandy, among other celebrities. He flexes his lavish lifestyle by showing off his mansion, jewelry and speed boats. There were also some unreleased records sprinkled throughout.
His mother, Sandra Graham, and her friends had a special segment for the song "True Bestie."
Speaking to ETalk, Drake spoke about the importance of his family and team, reflecting on the early days of his career when he released his first mixtape in 2006.
"This just reminds me of when we started. When my mom was doing my signature on the mixtapes with me because we had to ship out orders of 'Room for Improvement,'" he said. "We couldn't get all the signatures, so we were splitting signatures. (It) reminds me when it really mattered."
Additionally, according to Billboard, Drake dropped a remix of Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" with fellow rap artist Don Toliver.
