More than 77,000 cans of 7Up labeled Zero Sugar have been recalled because they mistakenly contain full sugar soda.
Admiral Beverage Corporation, an independent beverage distributor based in Utah, initiated the recall in August for the products, which have a shelf life into 2027, according to a notice from the Food and Drug Administration.
On Sept. 29, the FDA categorized the recall as a Class II event, indicating that the probability for serious adverse health consequences from the soda is remote.
The soda was distributed in Utah, the notice says.
USA TODAY has reached out to Keurig Dr Pepper, the owner of the 7Up brand, for comment.
Which 7Up soda has been recalled?

Roughly 77,700 cans of 7Up Tropical have been recalled because they are labeled Zero Sugar but contain full sugar
soda, per the FDA.
The affected products are 12-ounce cans in 12-pack cases and can be identified by UPC code 0 78000 03798 2.
The recalled soda was distributed in Utah and has a best by date of March 17, 2027.
What to do if you have recalled 7Up
The FDA notice does not provide instructions for consumers who have the recalled products. However, the agency generally suggests following any product-specific instructions for recalled food items and disposing of them as needed.
Recalled products can often be returned to the store where they were purchased for a full refund. Consumers should not give the product to others, such as a food bank, according to the FDA.
