No. 2 Santa Margarita (CA) has been well represented throughout USA TODAY Sports Plays of the Week.
Just weeks removed from Santa Margarita running back Adrian Petero adding a Play of the Week honor to his name, his teammate, Grant Van Raaphorst, has done the same after a poll of the USA TODAY Sports audience.
Van Raaphorst, a 6-foot wide receiver, needed a sky-high effort to come down with a big catch in the Eagles' narrow, 14-7 win over Mater Dei on Oct. 2, but pulled it off in an impressive showing of the junior receiver's athleticism. Van Raaphorst's jaw-dropping catch was one of two on the night as he finished the game with two receptions for 34 yards and a touchdown.

With 246 yards and two touchdowns on 14 receptions, Van Raaphorst is Santa Margarita's second-leading receiver through six games — all of which Carson Palmer's Eagles have won.
