Alexander Skarsgårdis showing love for his costar in the most fashionable way.
The actor, who has always been known for his eclectic fashion sense, continued his style streak at the Los Angeles screening of "Wicker" on Tuesday, Oct. 20.
The star made a statement in a punk-inspired Chopova Lowena look featuring a fitted black long-sleeve shirt with a woven image of Olivia Colman as her film character. in the center, paired with a colorful plaid skirt delicately draped through chunky silver chain hoops and embellished with a silver hardware leather belt. Skarsgård topped off the look with a pair of black socks styled with classic black derby shoes.

Skarsgård was also
joined on the carpet by his brother, Bill Skarsgård, who looked sleek in a wine-colored Dolce & Gabbana suit. The "Wicker" star posed for photos with his brother before meeting up with cast members Colman and Elizabeth Debicki.
Alexander Skarsgard clear shoes spark debate
Skarsgård's "Wicker" fashions have been a topic of conversation since the star began his press tour for the film at the beginning of the month. But it was his golden suit accessorized with a pair of clear shoes that became an internet favorite look.

For the London screening of the Alex Huston Fischer-directed film, Skarsgård looked like the epitome of the Hollywood golden boy in a gold metallic Saint Laurent suit, styling the jacket without a shirt, and topping it off with the brand's lucite elongated-toe derby shoes, which showed off the star's full feet.
In June, the controversial clear shoes had the internet up in arms when they first debuted on the runway of the Saint Laurent's spring/summer 2027 menswear show. At the time, many took to social media to express their concerns with the amount of sweat the shoes might hold.
"They must look fancy with all the sweat and condensation," one Instagram user commented on Saint Laurent's post promoting the shoes. "I'm calling the police," another user said.

As soon as Skarsgård's hit carpet, his shoes provoked similar comments online.
"Men's feet should be illegal," one Instagram user commented on a GQ post of the actor's bold look.
But it wasn't all distain for the shoes. One commenter wrote, "Rock out Alex," while another said, "Because it's him, I'll allow it."

The actor even got compliments on the gold ensemble with one Instagram user saying, "I love his suit."
Once again, the actor generated mixed reactions for his punk-rock skirt look, but for the most part, online fans seemed to be more aligned on bold skirt and the homage to Colman versus the sweaty see-through shoes.
"If there's one thing I'm going to do, one thing I'm going to die for, it's defending Alexander Skarsgård's style," said fashion stylist and TV personality Nicky Campbell in a reel review of the star's look.
Commenting on Campbell's reel, one Instagram user wrote, "Alexander is so playful and whimiscal ... he does not take anything too seriously. So enduring."
Other comments on photos of the star said, "I adore this man and his stylist," and "He can wear whatever."
But there was one Instagram user who had a slight suggestion for Skarsgård, writing, "The kilt should have been wicker."
