There will be no rain delays in this World Series. There will be a first-time champion, however.
The 2026 World Series will get underway under the retractable roof of Milwaukee's American Family Field when the Brewers play host to the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 1 Friday, Oct. 23. It marks just the second World Series appearance for Milwaukee - and first since 1982 - and the Rays' third since 2008.
Game 2 follows on Saturday before the series shifts to Tropicana Field for Games 3, 4 and 5 beginning Monday, Oct. 26. It will be the second World Series held at the Trop, as the Rays played the Los Angeles Dodgers at Arlington, Texas's Globe Life Field during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. They lost that Series in six games to the Dodgers, and fell in five
games to the Philadelphia Phillies in 2008.
All games will be broadcast by Fox Sports, beginning at 8 ET.
