It will be Scottie Scheffler vs. the field when the 2026 FedEx Cup playoffs continue at the BMW Championship this week. At least that's what the betting experts predict after Scheffler ran away with the FedEx St. Jude Championship to begin the PGA Tour's postseason.
The world's No. 1 golfer will be an overwhelming favorite at the BMW Championship at Bellerive Country Club outside St. Louis and sits in prime position to win the FedEx Cup again after picking up his second win of the season in Memphis. McIlroy is grouped with a pack of contenders, including American
Sam Burns and Europeans Tommy Fleetwood and Ludvig Aberg, with much less favorable odds than previous tournaments Scheffler played in this season. Only 50 golfers will tee off at Bellerive this week as part of the FedEx Cup playoff format. The top 30 in the FedEx Cup points standings after Sunday's final round advance to the Tour Championship in Atlanta next week.
Here's how all 50 golfers in the field stack up based on their odds to win the BMW Championship in the second event of the 2026 FedEx Cup playoffs, as well as the current FedEx Cup standings:
