World Cup breakout star Vozinha is set to sign with Chilean club Colo Colo, team president Anibal Mosa said on Friday, July 24.
The 40-year-old became a household name with his heroics for Cape Verde, most memorably in a 0-0 draw with eventual champion Spain to kick off the tournament.
Cape Verde made it past the group stage in the country's first World Cup, losing to Argentina in an epic round of 32 match.
Vozinha has been looking for a new club after his contract with Portuguese second-division side Chaves expired at the end of last season.
It appears his next move will be signing with Colo Colo, which has won a record 34 Primera Divisiรณn de Chile titles.
"Vozinha will be a Colo Colo player. In the coming days he will travel to Chile, undergo the usual
medical examinations and then be presented here at the Estadio Monumental," Mosa said prior to Colo Colo's match against Deportes Limache on Friday.
Though Colo Colo hasn't official confirmed the signing, the club posted what appeared to be the top of Vozinha's head on social media Friday.

Vozinha, aka Josimar Joseฬ Eฬvora Dias, was recently voted into the World Cup team of the tournament, which was selected by fans.
The goalkeeper grew his social media following from 50,000 to over 29 million after the tournament.
