Two beloved New England-based brands have teamed up right in time for fall and National Coffee Day.
Dunkin' and L.L. Bean have collaborated for the first time, launching a line of merch and freebie offerings culminating in a free coffee giveaway on Tuesday, Sept. 29.
The companies kicked off their promotion of the collab with a Dunkin' and L.L. Bean coffee koozie giveaway on Sept. 22. Shaped like a mini sweater, the koozies quickly ran out at participating Dunkin' locations nationwide, much to the internet's disappointment.
But while it's unclear whether Dunkin' and L.L. Bean will be bringing back the sweater koozie, the brands' merch line, launching Sept. 29, includes a new coffee accessory, plus a special human-size sweater and Boat and Tote
bag.
"From morning coffee runs to weekends outside, Dunkin' and L.L.Bean have been part of many of the same routines and traditions for decades. Bringing them together just felt right," Jill Nelson, chief marketing officer at Dunkin', said in a statement.

The Dunkin' and L.L. Bean merch line will include two items available for purchase on L.L. Bean's website. A separate coffee accessory will be on Dunkin's merch site for purchase.
Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 10 a.m. ET, a sweater and Boat and Tote will be available to purchase on LLBean.com/dunkin. See the details:
- Birdseye Sweater ($79.95): A pink version of L.L.Bean's Birdseye sweaters with a custom Dunkin-inspired pattern.
- Boat and Tote ($59.95): A version of L.L.Bean's Boat and Tote bag with embroidered L.L.Bean and Dunkin’ logos and pink and orange colors.
On Dunkin's merch site, fans looking for another coffee accessory can purchase what is essentially a mini version of the L.L. Bean Boat and Tote.
Starting at 10 a.m. ET on Sept. 29, the L.L. Bean Coffee tote will be available to buy on DunkinRunsonMerch.com. It is priced at $24.95 and features a coffee-sized sleeve and handles resembling the Boat and Tote, making it perfect to carry on the go, to a job interview or wherever the day takes you.

Also on Sept. 29 – National Coffee Day – Dunkin' and L.L. Bean are celebrating with a free coffee giveaway.
Dunkin' Rewards members can get a free medium hot or iced coffee with any purchase through the Dunkin' app on Sept. 29.
The offer excludes cold brew and hot espresso beverages and cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion.
