Los Angeles Rams RB Kyren Williams ran 11 times for 41 yards and a touchdown during the team's Week 1 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Williams also caught three passes for 24 yards.

Why It Matters: Williams' touchdown plunge put the Rams on top in the second quarter. It was all downhill from there as LA would allow 24 unanswered points and lose to their division rivals. With the 49ers pulling ahead, Williams ended the day with 14 touches for 65 yards and the aforementioned touchdown. He still seemed to work slightly ahead of Blake Corum, but the gap between them might be shrinking -- a year ago, Williams finished with 259 carries to 145 for Corum. For now, Williams can continue being used as a midrange No. 2 fantasy back.
