The singer Adéla borrowed Nicole Kidman's name for a pop song so for Halloween, Kidman's daughter borrowed Adéla's look.
Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, 18, wore a black choker and a long pink wig for her Halloween costume this year as seen in photos she shared on Instagram. In another shot, she posed in ballet shoes and tagged Adéla, 22, the Slovak singer behind the hit single "Nicole Kidman."
Sunday Rose captioned the post "babygirl in control," a line from the song's chorus. The lyric also nods to "Babygirl," the 2024 movie in which Kidman, 59, plays a CEO who has an affair with an intern.
Adéla herself performs in pointe shoes, and the title of her debut album, "Prima," is a nod to her ballet training. As for the song, Adéla told W magazine that
the corset she wore to a Golden Globes party was so tight she found herself thinking, "I feel like Nicole Kidman right now."
In the music video, Adéla revisits "Eyes Wide Shut" and "Moulin Rouge!" and even pays tribute to Kidman's commercial for AMC Theatres. Kidman gave the singer the edge in at least one scene during a September interview with Jimmy Fallon. "She looks way better on the trapeze," she said.
This isn't the first time Sunday Rose has garnered attention for her bold outfits. The eldest of Kidman and country singer Keith Urban's two daughters made her runway debut for Miu Miu in Paris in 2024. A year later, she walked for Dior in Jonathan Anderson's first women's collection for the label a day after the news of her parents' divorce broke.
In April, she posed on outdoor steps in her Oscar de la Renta prom gown, its tulle skirt spread around her. Weeks later, she climbed the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in a pink floral gown for her Met Gala debut. Her mom, one of the evening's co-chairs, wore red sequins.
Kidman shared a glimpse of her daughter's early dress-up days on Sunday Rose's 18th birthday in July. One childhood photo showed her walking away from the camera in white angel wings. Her mom called her "my angel."
