Kraft, known for its boxed mac and cheese, is trying something new next year with the launch of the company’s first-ever cheesy ramen line.
The new Kraft Mac & Cheese Cheesy Ramen will be available in early 2027, the company said in a statement to USA TODAY.
The move comes about three months after Kraft released its Kraft Dinner Ramen line in Canada. Canadian customers can grab the noodles in cheesy, extra cheesy and extra spicy flavors at grocery, convenience and big-box retailers nationwide, as well as participating 7-Eleven Canada locations.
While the ramen line in the United States will still offer three flavors, they vary from the Canadian versions.
Here's what we know about Kraft's cheesy ramen release in the United States.

Why cheesy ramen?
The company said
it is well-aware that shoppers have been enjoying pre-packaged ramen for years, often adding different flavors and toppings.
"Within the category, cheesy ramen has emerged as one of the fastest-growing subcategories with consumers adding cheese to offset spice levels and achieve a creamier dish," Kelsey Rice, director of brand communications for Kraft Mac & Cheese, told USA TODAY on Oct. 2.
It's not the first new product Kraft has released recently. The company started selling Kraft Mac & Cheese PowerMac in April 2026. The PowerMac is made of pea protein. One serving contains 17 grams of protein and 6 grams of fiber.
What flavors of cheesy ramen will Kraft offer?
The 3.2-ounce bowls of ramen will come in three flavors – spicy, chicken and pork. The company said in a press release that the ramen is made with no artificial flavors, preservatives or dyes.
What will the Kraft ramen cost?
According to Kraft, the 90-gram bowls of cheesy ramen have a suggested retail price of $2.99.
Where and when can customers buy it?
Customers can buy Kraft Mac & Cheese Cheesy Ramen in-store and via online retailers nationally, Rice said. The company declined to name specific retailers on Oct. 2 but said more details will be made available as 2027 nears.
Kraft said those wanting to get an early helping of the cheesy ramen can find out how to do so on Instagram and TikTok.
