The San Francisco 49ers dominated the Miami Dolphins in a blowout 35-13 win on Sunday, Sept. 20, but it wouldn't come without injuries to some of their players.
Niners wide receiver Demarcus Robinson left Sunday's game after suffering an apparent lower leg injury. Robinson appeared to suffer a non-contact injury and was carted off after making a 20-yard reception in the 2nd quarter.
He didn't return to the game and finished with three catches for 34 yards.
The injuries didn't end there. They continued to pile up after Robinson.
Rookie defensive lineman James Thompson Jr. injured his ankle. More defensive players went down as the contest went on.
Fellow rookie Romello Height suffered a hand injury. Height, a defensive lineman, registered a sack and a tackle
in the game. Cornerback Jack Jones suffered an foot injury.
On the Dolphins side, rookie receiver Caleb Douglas suffered an ankle injury. Additionally, defensive end Rob Beal Jr. suffered a hamstring injury.
