As the Pittsburgh Steelers' 2026 season kicks off, fans heading to Acrisure Stadium will find numerous ways to enjoy game day.
On Sunday, Sept. 13, the Steelers host the Atlanta Falcons in the first game of the season. And for fans planning to watch the game in person, there are several activities to enjoy throughout the day.
Whether you're interested in tailgating, participating in family-friendly football drills or just enjoying the pregame show, here's everything to know about the Steelers' game day activities.
Where are Steelers tailgates?
Stage AE is the Steelers' official tailgate zone, according to the team's website. Tailgates are free and hosted by Bill Crawford of the WDVE Morning Show. Fans can enjoy a variety of entertainment, from live music and radio broadcasts
from WDVE & iHeart stations to games like cornhole, ladder ball and a QB challenge. There will be chances to win Steelers prizes and autographed items. Food and beverage specials will be available at the venue, and the game will be shown on Stage AE's screens.

Where are Steelers game day activities?
Other game day activities for the Steelers take place on the North Shore and inside Acrisure Stadium at various locations, including:
- Art Rooney Avenue
- Fedex Air and Ground Zone outside of Gate A
- Fedex Great Hall through the east side of the stadium
- Ford Fan Zone at Acrisure's south plaza
What can I find at Steelers game day activities?
Each location offers unique game day activities when the Steelers are playing.
If you're looking for family fun, visit Fedex Air and Ground Zone. This spot is located on a football field-sized area outside of Gate A and holds various drills and activities for all ages. Open three hours before kickoff, families can take pictures with the stadium in the background and a #HereWeGo sign, enjoy music from the DJ truck parked along the lawn and try their hand at football drills and activities.
If you're looking for an interactive pregame fan experience, visit Art Rooney Avenue. You can hang out with Steely McBeam as you explore photo opportunities, face painting, chances to win prizes, interactive games, the Steelers' Super Bowl ring display, the team's Hall of Honor Museum display and more. The first 300 fans 21 and over will also receive complimentary Bud Light from the Bud Light Backyard, where guests can try their hand at lawn games.
If you're looking to watch the live pregame show, visit Fedex Great Hall. Located through the east side of Acrisure Stadium, Fedex Great Hall will broadcast the pregame show 30 minutes prior to kickoff. Fans can also explore the Steelers Pro Shop; enjoy concessions from Franco's Pizza, Quaker Steak & Lube and other options; and snag photos with six Lombardi trophies, as well as a historic locker and retired jersey displays.
If you're looking for fellow Steelers fans, visit the Ford Fan Zone. Fans can hang out on the south plaza inside Acrisure Stadium beneath the scoreboard and grab food and beverages from multiple concession stands in the area.
