Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel's son is ready for his time in the spotlight
Silas Randall Timberlake, the 11-year-old son of the "Mirrors" singer, 45, and the "Illusionist" actress, 44, made his acting debut with a small role in the Apple TV+ film "Matchbox: The Movie."
At the end of the film, which stars Biel and premiered Oct. 9, Silas makes a brief, non-speaking appearance.
The "Better Sister" star discussed her son's cameo in "Matchbox: The Movie" at the film's Oct. 5 premiere, telling E! News, "He plays a small part in the movie at the very end, which is really cute." She also told the outlet that Silas takes after both his parents, adding that he is a DJ who is "kind of interested in both lanes."
Biel said she and Timberlake, who married
in 2012, are letting Silas take his time in finding his own path, adding, "and see what happens and what he really gets interested in."

The couple welcomed their son Silas in 2015, and their youngest son, Phineas, in 2020.
Based on the Mattel toys, "Matchbox" stars John Cena as an undercover CIA agent who accidentally gets his buddies into a globe-trotting adventure. Biel plays an emergency medical technician, amateur race-car driver and Cena's love interest in the movie, which also stars Sam Richardson, Teyonah Parris and Arturo Castro.
Jessica Biel to play Hugh Hefner's wife in Playboy movie: Reports
"Matchbox: The Movie" comes amid reports that Biel's next film role will be in an upcoming project about Hugh Hefner titled "Playmates."
Variety and Deadline reported Biel's casting in the upcoming Searchlight Pictures movie, which will star Bill Pullman as the magazine publisher and Biel as a fictional version of Hefner's wife.
Crystal Harris, who was married to Hefner for nearly five years until he died in 2017, urged Biel to "please reconsider" the role in an Instagram direct message Harris shared publicly.
"Many other women have come forward with allegations of rape, coercion, drugging and exploitation as well. There are also deeply troubling concerns involving minors. I hope everyone involved in this film takes the time to listen to the women who lived it before helping Hollywood turn it back into nostalgia," Harris wrote to Biel.
Hefner, a magazine magnate and businessman, built his brand on womanizing when he launched Playboy in the early 1950s. In 2012, he wed Harris, his third wife, formerly known as Crystal Hefner. Heralded by some as a pioneer in sexual politics, his contributions have been derided by others as misogynistic and promoting a culture of abuse.
