Sean "Diddy" Combs faced a health scare over the weekend, according to reports.
The disgraced music mogul, who's currently serving a 50-month federal prison sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, was rushed to the hospital on Saturday morning, Oct. 10, due to a "medical emergency," according to TMZ.
Per the outlet, the 56-year-old rapper was hospitalized to receive treatment for a head injury.
In a statement to USA TODAY Monday, Oct. 12, Combs' spokesperson Juda Engelmayer said, "we are aware of the reports concerning Sean Combs," but declined to share additional details on Combs' condition, adding, "[we] are working to confirm the circumstances."
"Sean's health and well-being are our immediate concern, and we appreciate everyone who has reached
out," Engelmayer concluded.
USA TODAY has reached out to FCI Fort Dix for comment.
Combs' health troubles come after a rocky few months for the Bad Boy Records founder, who was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution in July 2025, following a bombshell trial that pulled back the curtain on the rapper's media empire.
In July, the "I'll Be Missing You" emcee was reportedly placed in solitary confinement after getting into an altercation with a fellow inmate.

Combs' conduct behind bars has also come under scrutiny. NBC News published a report on Sept. 29, citing photos and videos of the music producer and interviews with several inmates, alleging that Combs uses contraband electronics and alcohol that were procured for him. The outlet also reported that Combs pays fellow inmates to cook, clean and do his laundry.
The hip-hop mogul's initial custody release was set for May 8, 2028, but Combs' release date has been moved multiple times since his incarceration, according to U.S. Federal Bureau of Prisons' inmate records viewed by USA TODAY. Combs' release is currently set for March 2, 2028, a two-month delay from the rapper's previously adjusted release date of Jan. 21, 2028.
Combs' legal team is still attempting to appeal his sex-crimes conviction. The rapper, who has denied all allegations of sexual misconduct, is also facing upwards of 70 civil lawsuits across the country.
