Only a fortunate few will walk away with a golden statuette and coveted title of “Emmy winner” on Sept. 14. But the new class of winners aren’t the only ones who will leave Los Angeles Peacock Theater with goodies in tow.
Backstage, nestled among the dressing rooms, some will be able to visit the official Giving Suite to shop. Upon their exit, they’ll also receive a gift bag (filled with so much swag that it's actually a check-in suitcase).
Lash Fary, founder of Distinctive Assets, the company that curates the gifts and experience for the Emmys, estimates the value to be close to $28,000 per recipient.
“It's around $14,000 worth of stuff in the Giving Suite, and then there's another $14,000 worth of stuff in the gift bag,” Fary tells USA TODAY
in an interview.
Some items are more affordable, like the RoC Lip Volumizer or HydroJug 40 oz. beverage holder featuring the Television Academy Foundation logo. But pricier splurges like $10,000 gift cards to Ironwall by Incogni − which guards your personal information online − or sessions with life coach Cynthia Occelli are also included.
Here’s everything to know about the 2026 Emmys gift bag and Giving Suite.
Who gets an Emmys gift bag?
Fary says he and his team assembled 80 gift bags that can be picked up by the evening’s presenters, performers and nominees. The Giving Suite can be shopped throughout rehearsals on Sept. 12 and 13. On the day of the ceremony, the Giving Suite will be open from 2 p.m. PT until approximately 8 p.m. PT, when the show is scheduled to end.
“Last year, we had a number of folks who came off the red carpet" to shop, Fary says. “Ben Stiller and Christine [Taylor], his lovely wife, they had some time to kill before they went and took their seat for the show, so they came in and checked out the Giving Suite.”
How does the Giving Suite work?
Fary says the Giving Suite only has room for 10 activations, which vendors pay to rent.
“The base level activation to be in the Emmys’ Giving Suite is $25,000, and then we have a couple of premium spots for a slightly larger space and a slightly bigger sign, that's $45,000,” Fary says. “To be included in the gift bag, it's $3,000.”
A portion of the Giving Suite fees are donated to the Television Academy Foundation. “Both last year and this year, we've been able to donate over $100,000 each year to the foundation,” Fary says.

How much are award show gift bags worth?
Fary says the value of this year’s gifting lounge and bag are in line with the other award shows that his company produces.
“Whether it's for the Grammys or the Emmys or what we've done in the past for the Tonys or the Academy of Country Music Awards, it usually always falls in the $20-$30,000 range,” Fary says.
Experiences, as included in last year’s bag for “the top Oscar nominees,” push the price tag.
“That bag last year was worth $250,000 because we had five luxury trips around the world,” Fary says of his company’s unofficial gift bag. “For the Oscar nominees, we only gift 25 people. So it becomes easier to do a $45,000 trip to Ibiza, which was one of the things that we included. For things like the Emmys, where we have closer to 100 people that we're gifting, we tend not to get trips and stuff because it's just too many people for them to give away that kind of trip to.”
