Why it Matters: Man, Mahomes suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in December last season, and he beat the odds by returning in nine months, and he didn't look like he was missing a beat. He had a rushing touchdown wiped out by penalty, and he came back and did it again, counting, while showing off his muscles in the end zone. He's back, and he appears to be a top-tier QB1 again. There is always going to be some concern coming back from a major injury so quickly, but so far, so good.
