Alexander Isak scored a dazzling double in the first 10 minutes of Liverpool's visit to Ipswich Town Friday, Sept. 4, getting goals in the sixth and ninth minutes in a perfect start to the match for the Reds.
Cody Gakpo, a reported transfer target for several teams who stayed on Merseyside past the deadline, set up both goal.
On the first, Gakpo shifted into the middle of the field and found the Swedish forward on the edge of the area. Ipswich goalkeeper Kjell Scherpen got a piece of Isak's long-range effort but wasn't able to keep it out.

Isak had more to do on the second goal, though Gakpo's pass
to set it up was more impressive. The Dutchman used the outside of his boot to play the ball from his own half into the area between the back line and the 18-yard box.
The forward ran onto the pass but needed some confident dribbling to get around his defender and finish with his left foot.
Isak now has three goals this season, with Gakpo pushing his total to three assists in addition to a goal scored.
