Simone Biles is in recovery mode, at least for a certain fashion accessory.
The 29-year-old gymnastics superstar, during an appearance at the Faces of Fitness festival in Chicago over the weekend, revealed her Saint Laurent sunglasses were taken while she and her husband attended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding. She added that she'd like the expensive shades back.
Biles, who led the festival's first-ever fully immersive mental health experience, told attendees that fellow wedding guest and performer Avril Lavigne took her sunglasses.
"Question: Can you give us a piece of gossip from Taylor Swift’s wedding? Simone Biles: Avril Lavigne stole my sunglasses," the caption from a clip posted to TikTok reads.
"... Instagram her and be like, 'Yo,
can I get those YSL's back?'" Biles can be heard saying in the clip. "Um, but I don't think she's seen it yet. Yeah."
USA TODAY contacted Lavigne's and Biles' reps for comment July 29.
Biles and her husband, Indianapolis Colts safety Jonathan Owens, were among the dozens of A-listers who attended the power couple's nuptials at Madison Square Garden on July 3. Biles later shared photos of her and her husband's matching wedding attire to Instagram.
"The perfect love story, followed by the perfect nighTT" Biles said of the affair.
Pat McAfee on Avril Lavigne performance: 'Awesome'
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding was a star-studded night to remember, with many celebs recounting the event, including ESPN sports analyst Pat McAfee.
In addition to performances from Stevie Nicks and Paul McCartney, McAfee revealed that Avril Lavigne was also in attendance, even hopping on stage to perform her hit single "Sk8er Boi."
“Stevie Nicks played, Taylor was up with them, obviously. Avril Lavigne — I don’t want to give away too much. But it was the greatest night of all time," McAfee said during a live broadcast of "The Pat McAfee Show" on July 13.
According to Entertainment Weekly, a slew of musicians got in on the fun, including Camila Cabello, Sombr, the Haim sisters, Ellie Goulding, Benson Boone, Ashanti and all three members of The Chicks.
"I guess me saying Avril Lavigne played ‘Sk8r Boi’ was the first time that it came out. But she was awesome. And to be clear, those musicians… one would just call out the other, and then they would come up," McAfee added.
