Haaland scored a pair of goals for Manchester City in a 2-0 UEFA Champions League win at FC Porto, netting in the 47th minute and again in the 91st minute on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
The Norway star's brace ensured Man City started the league phase of the Champions League with three points.

averaging one per game in the European club championship. He also has 167 goals in 203 appearances for Man City.
Despite arriving at Manchester City only in 2022, Haaland already is climbing the scoring charts with his sights set on becoming the club's all-time leading scorer. Aguero bagged 260 goals for the Sky Blues in his decade at the club.
There was some speculation that Haaland may be given a rest against Porto, entering the season after scoring seven goals in five matches for Norway at the World Cup. “It’s not easy for Erling or for any of the players that play for club and international teams," Man City manager Enzo Maresca said before the contest. "I think it is normal that you see these players start to be tired. So, it’s correct to give them some rest. It can be one game out or one week away.
“It depends on which moment we are in but the priority is to allow the players to be good and happy. When you see them tired the risk of injury increases, and we need players who are 100 percent.”
Over the weekend, Haaland scored his 300th club goal, beating top players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappe to the mark. He also scored a double in the week before, meaning the goal against Porto extends his streak to three straight matches with a goal.
City will now turn its attention to a derby against Manchester United on Sunday Sept. 13, when Haaland once again will be counted upon to find the back of the net.
