The final week of the high school football regular season on the West Coast has now come and gone but the final week before playoff starts was not without its fair share of drama.
In a battle of two of California's top two programs in the Trinity League, Mater Dei (CA)
trailed by two touchdowns late before embarking on an improbable comeback that saw the Monarchs come out on top against St. John Bosco (CA).Heading a few states north, two of Washington's premier programs were involved in a similar situation. Puyallup (WA) once again played another one of the state's top teams and once again came out on top as they beat Graham-Kapowsin in overtime.
