Larry Fitzgerald made just two trips to Lambeau Field during his Hall of Fame career with the Arizona Cardinals.
His latest visit to the home of the NFL's Green Bay Packers, however, comes in a much different role: dad.
The former NFL star was spotted on the field before Sunday's Shamrock Series matchup
between No. 5 Notre Dame and Wisconsin, chatting with comedian and Fighting Irish fan Shane Gillis as Fitzgerald prepared to watch his son's collegiate debut.Fitzgerald's son, Devin, is a freshman wide receiver on Marcus Freeman's Notre Dame squad.
The Fighting Irish, led by quarterback and preseason Heisman Trophy betting favorite CJ Carr, are looking to make it back to the
College Football Playoff after being omitted from the 12-team field last season. Notre Dame made it all the way to the national championship against Ohio State in the 2024-25 CFP.
Notre Dame and Wisconsin are set for a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff on Sunday at Lambeau Field.

Fitzgerald is in attendance for Sunday's Notre Dame-Wisconsin game to watch his son, Notre Dame freshman wide receiver Devin Fitzgerald, play.
Devin Fitzgerald was a four-star recruit and the No. 43-ranked wide receiver in the 2026 recruiting class according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings.
"I've developed into a better ballplayer, and they really think I'm going to turn into a great player," Devin Fitzgerald told ESPN in 2025 about why he chose Notre Dame. "I've known (Notre Dame wide receiver coach) Coach (Mike) Brown since I was 5 years old. He's shown me that I can come in, step up and play early. That's their plan with me."

Where did Larry Fitzgerald play college football at?
One of the most elusive and explosive wide receivers in University of Pittsburgh history, Fitzgerald became an immediate impact player for the Panthers, finishing with 1,005 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns on 69 receptions in his freshman season. He took it up a level the next year: 1,672 receiving yards and 22 touchdowns on 92 receptions.
That earned him Biletnikoff Award honors as the nation's top receiver and a runner-up finish in the Heisman Trophy race. He finished with 2,677 yards and a program-record 34 touchdowns in just 26 career games.
