New York Giants RB Cam Skattebo had 18 carries, 81 yards, and a touchdown in Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys. Skattebo did have a fumble but was able to recover it.

Why It Matters: In his first game back after suffering a season-ending ankle injury last October, Skattebo dominated the backfield usage, logging 18 carries to six for Devin Singletary and two for Tyrone Tracy Jr., who lost a fumble and wasn't seen again. There was one disappointing note, however, as the Arizona State alum was not targeted in the passing game -- Singletary, meanwhile, had four catches and a touchdown. It's too early to read into that, and we'll see how the distribution shakes out versus the Rams in Week 2. For now, Skattebo rates as a midrange or low-end
RB2.
