The Golden State Valkyries hold the lead in the WNBA Finals over the Atlanta Dream. The Finals are currently taking place at Chase Center in San Francisco and that's where you'll find yourself if you get tickets for Game 2.
The Valkyries are only in their second season as a franchise in the WNBA, but the success has come quickly. Golden State took Game 1 behind a 26-point performance from Gabby Williams and a huge second quarter. The Valkyries were a bit of a one-woman show, with Williams being the only player to score in the double digits.
Things were a little more balanced on the Atlanta Dream side. Allisha Gray led with 19 points, Angel Reese had a double-double with 14 points and
12 rebounds and Rhyne Howard scored another 12 points. It just wasn't enough, the Dream fell 68-64, despite holding a lead with just minutes left in the game.
