Things haven't gone well to start the season in Miami.
Early in Sunday's contest, it appears things were only going to get worse. De'Von Achane, the Miami Dolphins best player on offense, exited with an apparent injury.
He walked off the field gingerly after being tended to by trainers. It's unclear the exact nature of Achane's injury, but his head was twisted after his facemask was grabbed by a Kansas City Chiefs defender.
Here's the latest on Achane.
De'Von Achane injury update
Achane is questionable to return with a knee injury, the Dolphins announced.
The running back was seen walking back to the locker room, shortly after be evaluated in the medical tent. He did appear to be walking much better after exiting tent through.
It's notable that the injury is to Achane's knee,
considering his head was twisted by a Chiefs defender on the play where he got hurt.
Dolphins RB depth chart
- De'Von Achane (questionable to return)
- Ollie Gordon II
The Dolphins are left with just one healthy running back on the roster if Achane can't return. Jaylen Wright is inactive, leaving just Gordon as the lone running back left for Miami.
