Carolina Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan had six receptions for 58 yards against the Green Bay Packers in Week 8. He was targeted a team-high 11 times in the loss.

Why It Matters: With Bryce Young under duress on Thursday night, the passing game was primarily quick hitters with the hope that the wideouts could break a tackle or two and make a big play. It rarely worked out that way, however, and as a result McMillan averaged just 9.7 yards per catch. It was his third largely disappointing performance in his last five games and second in a row. We all saw what this passing attack could look like early this season, so McMillan's upside remains substantial, but the Panthers need to figure out a way to keep Young upright so he can
take more downfield shots. While it's too soon to downgrade McMillan below WR2 status, his recent production has not been on that level.
