Fauci to testify at Senate hearing
Anthony Fauci, one of the chief architects of the Trump administration’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, is set to appear under subpoena Wednesday in a Senate investigation that Republicans say could potentially lead to criminal charges.
Sen. Rand Paul, R-Kentucky, who arranged for the hearing, has investigated for years whether COVID-19 leaked from a Chinese lab. But Fauci previously testified that he believes the most likely origin was from animal-to-human transmission.
Meanwhile, more than 1,100 pages of diary entries Fauci kept as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases were released
ahead of Fauci's Senate appearance.

Tom Holland's 'Spider-Man' is all grown up
Tom Holland pulls off his most emotionally gripping work ever as Peter Parker, who battles isolation and evolution as well as a powerful new foe in “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.” If the previous Spider-outing “No Way Home” paid homage to the deep history of the web-swinger’s movies, this new film pays off story threads from the Holland era and weaves in a lot of comic-book references. Our critic gave it a ★★★ out of four.
