I bought the Bissell HydrateWell water fountain strictly for my cat, but my 50-pound Blue Heeler clearly missed the memo. Now, both of my pets are officially the most hydrated they’ve ever been.
After wrestling with a previous fountain that required constant charging, hummed way too loudly and somehow always felt a bit slimy, I finally decided to give Bissell’s water fountain a shot. Setup took practically zero time, cleaning it is completely hassle-free and it runs so quietly that I periodically have to double-check that it’s even on. It also features a sleek blue indicator light that turns red when the water level runs low—a lifesaver, given that both animals have made it their personal mission to drain it daily.
The shared arrangement hasn't
gone without drama, though. My cat recently caught the dog sipping from his new fountain and looked genuinely offended by the betrayal. While I bought mine right before Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days, you can score the Bissell HydrateWell right now for under $25. That’s a 26% discount on the quiet little water fountain currently fueling full-blown territorial disputes in my kitchen.
