USA TODAY is launching its first Editor's Picks Best New Products 2026 award this fall, and we're inviting brands to submit their most innovative new releases for consideration.
From beauty and wellness to toys and home goods, we want to spotlight the standout new products that are quickly becoming everyday essentials and helping consumers live better.
What is USA TODAY's Best New Products 2026 award?
Each year, millions of new product releases compete for consumers' attention. The USA TODAY Editor's Pick Best New Products award aims to make those choices easier by identifying the new releases that truly excel in innovation, performance, quality and value in an increasingly crowded marketplace.
How USA TODAY editors evaluate nominated products
The USA TODAY editorial team will evaluate products using expert insights, hands-on testing, online
reviews and real-world experience. Brands are encouraged to nominate new products they believe deserve recognition. A nomination doesn't guarantee you'll win, but it allows our editors to consider your product for this inaugural awards program.
Why brands should nominate products
A USA TODAY Editor's Pick designation signals to consumers that a product has earned the confidence of our editors and stands out among the year's best new releases.
When is the nomination deadline?
Nominations are open and will be accepted through October 30. Submit your product today for a chance to be recognized in USA TODAY's inaugural Editor's Pick Best New Products 2026 list. USA TODAY's initial winners' list publishes on November 2, 2026.
What products are eligible?
USA TODAY welcomes nominations across a wide range of categories, including home, beauty, wellness, toys, and more. Products should be:
- New in 2026
- Majorly rebranded or updated for 2026
- New edition for 2026
- Physically different from previously released versions
Products introducing new colorways, merchants, or packaging will not be considered.
