The MLB wild card round is in the books and only eight teams remain in what's already been a thrilling opening few days of the postseason.

When does the championship series start?
The National League Championship Series will start on Sunday, Oct. 11, while the American League Championship Series will start on Monday, Oct. 12. As with the division series, the NLCS will air on FOX and FS1, while the ALCS will air on TruTV and TBS. The times for the games have not been released yet.
