The 2026 World Series is at hand, with the top seeds in each league battling it out to become the first team in their respective franchise histories to hoist the Commissioner's Trophy.
The Milwaukee Brewers won a major league-leading 103 games in the regular season and are coming off a four-game sweep of the two-time defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship Series. This marks the Brewers' first appearance in the Fall Classic since 1982.
Meanwhile, the 98-win Tampa Bay Rays are coming off a hard-fought six-game American League Championship Series victory over the Cleveland Guardians. They've gotten this far twice in the past 16 years, but they've lost each time: to the Philadelphia Phillies in 2008 and the Dodgers
in 2020.
