Raphinha was forced out of Brazil's friendly at Australia on Tuesday, Sept. 29 with "discomfort in his right thigh," the Brazilian federation (CBF) said.
The Barcelona star scored from the penalty spot shortly before halftime, but was unable to return after the break.
After Endrick replaced Raphinha at halftime, the CBF said in a statement: "Suffering from discomfort in his right thigh, striker Raphinha was substituted at halftime."
Brazil went on to win the match 4-2 at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Australia.
Though there was no immediate update on the severity, Raphinha's potential injury could be a big concern for Barcelona after the 29-year-old's red-hot start to the campaign.
The forward has already scored 14 goals in just eight matches across
all competitions, with Barcelona winning all eight of those games.
Raphinha has a history of hamstring problems, missing multiple matches for Barcelona last season both in the fall and spring.
He then suffered another hamstring injury in the World Cup against Haiti, and was unable to play in any of Brazil's final three matches in the competition.
