In a storyline that rivaled some of the best from professional wrestling, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson made a dramatic return to the gridiron in the opening game of Week 8 to complete one of the more amazing comebacks in NFL history.
After leaving the stadium in an ambulance and being transported to the hospital with what turned out to be a broken rib, Watson returned to the game in the second half to add a couple more catches to his eight-reception, 113-yard night.
Watson won't be the only standout receiver playing this week with that ailment. Michael Wilson of the Arizona Cardinals apparently caught the game-tying TD pass last week in Dallas with two broken ribs.
