No proof the electrical substation is submarining the San Francisco 49ers again, but they're once again coping with another major injury to one of their star players.
According to multiple reports, former Defensive Player of the Year Nick Bosa will miss multiple weeks after suffering a calf strain in practice this week. The five-time Pro Bowler missed all but three games last season after suffering a torn ACL. Bosa, who was carefully managed during training camp this year, was off to a slow start this season − sackless through two game and with just one quarterback hit to his credit.
Still, the Niners have gotten off to an undefeated start and stand a good chance to run their record to 3-0 on Sunday, when the host the NFC West rival Arizona Cardinals.
