Bo Bice is a brand-new man.
The "American Idol" alum shared an update Thursday, Oct. 29, revealing that his signature brown locks won't be making a comeback anytime soon, as Bice ushers in a new musical era that calls for a dramatic, edgier look.
"Well, well, Tinkerbell... Who's THAT guy?!" Bice captioned a before-and-after photo collage on Instagram. "Here's a blast from my past and a glimpse into my future with a new life, new style, but the same southern soul."
A former "Idol" contestant, Bice was crowned runner-up to Carrie Underwood, who took first place in the singing competition series back in 2005.
Bice's "Brand New Man" marks his return to music following the 2024 release of single
"Born of Heroes Blood," which won "most impactful song" at the Hollywood Independent Music Awards that year.
The country rock singer who went off-grid for a few months earlier this year unveiled his newer, much shorter 'do in April, sharing that he was busy "shaping up my body, mind & spirit."
"Back to gigging? Does anyone still want to hear from an old wolf who’s long in the tooth and short on worries?" Bice wrote. "Let’s see what 2027 has in store for ole BB and the Bo-Peeps 🐥"
In addition to chopping his locks to get the "short haired country boy look again," Bice revealed that he made a number of changes, among them an 89-pound weight loss.

"No drinking, no drugs, body clean from everything but natural God grown remedies. Back into a comfortable and healthy lifestyle, 50 feels better than any other decade I experienced yet," Bice said.
Bice's new lease on life began shortly before he announced that he and his wife Caroline were parting after 21 years of marriage. Bice confirmed the breakup, which he described as "amicable" in a June 15 post.
