What should you look for in a Black Friday mattress deal?
Don't judge a mattress sale by the discount alone. Before checking out, compare:
- Final price for your mattress size: A dramatic percentage-off banner doesn't always mean the lowest checkout price.
- Sleep trial: Check how long you'll have to test the mattress at home.
- Return terms: Look for return or pickup fees and any minimum trial period.
- Warranty: Review what's actually covered rather than relying on the length alone.
- Free extras: Pillows, sheets and protectors are useful only if you actually need them.
- Delivery: Holiday demand can affect how quickly a bed arrives.
