If the Philadelphia Phillies clinch the National League's third and final wild card spot on the final day of the season, the team would face the Atlanta Braves in wild card series beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 29 in Atlanta.
The Braves won nine of the 13 regular season meetings in 2026. Philadelphia beat Atlanta in the 2022 and 2023 National League Division Series.
The Phillies last won the World Series in 2008, but have reached the Fall Classic twice since then, losing to the New York Yankees in 2009 and Houston Astros in 2022.
