Denver Broncos wide receiver Jaylen Waddle suffered an apparent injury late in his team's Week 7 game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Waddle's injury occurred after the receiver tried to take an end-around hand-off. The 27-year-old fumbled the hand-off and had to dive on it behind the line of scrimmage to ensure the Broncos would not lose possession.
Waddle landed on top of the ball but then had Cardinals edge rusher Josh Sweat land on top of him almost immediately after. Waddle remained down in pain following the tackle and appeared to be reaching for his shoulder.
Waddle eventually exited the field and headed to the blue medical tent for further evaluation. He was later seen walking to the locker room, alongside members of Denver's athletic training
staff.

The Broncos did not immediately provide an update on Waddle's status for the remainder of Sunday's contest.
Before exiting the game, Waddle logged four catches for 48 yards. He did not have a rushing attempt; Bo Nix was charged with a fumble on his lone carry, and Waddle was credited with the recovery.
