Free-agent running back Joe Mixon (Texans) was signed to the practice squad by the Seattle Seahawks on Monday, Oct. 5.
With running back Jadarian Price (chest) on the reserve/injured list, and running back Zach Charbonnet (knee) not quite ready to return from a torn ACL, the team was light at tailback in Week 4. Running backs Emanuel Wilson and George Holani held it down in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Chargers, with wide receiver Rashid Shaheed seeing two carries as a tailback.

Why it Matters: Well, Wilson was sharp as the lead tailback, and Holani has soft hands out of the backfield. But, there could be a role for Mixon, if he is healthy, and can jump Velus Jones Jr. on the depth chart. However, he is a long
way from having any fantasy appeal.
