With the Milwaukee Brewers nearing their first championship, stars William Contreras and Jackson Chourio have emerged as the favorites to be named World Series MVP.
Contreras, the 28-year-old catcher, has shown himself to be one of Major League Baseball's premier catchers in the postseason, gunning down would-be base-stealers and correctly challenging balls and strikes – in addition to his exploits at the plate.
Meanwhile, the 22-year-old Chourio started the World Series 8-for-13 with three stolen bases as the Brewers close in on a dream October ending.
