College volleyball rankings after Week 3: Updated AVCA Coaches Poll

The past week in women's volleyball brought a shakeup to the AVCA Coaches Poll.

Where it once again didn't waver, though, was the No. 1 spot.

Nebraska once again came in as the top-ranked team in the country,

as the Cornhuskers won all three of their games last week, including a sweep over then-No. 20 Baylor at home, in which Harper Murray and Manaia Ogbechie both recorded 12 kills.

The Cornhuskers have two top-25 matchups on deck this upcoming week, including an in-state rivalry matchup against No. 20 Creighton set for Wednesday, Sept. 16.

No. 2 Pittsburgh continues to roll, as well: The Panthers moved to 10-0 on the season after a ranked win over Tennessee in the ACC/SEC Challenge and three wins in the Panther Challenge against Jacksonville, Wright State and High Point. Olivia Babcock ranks third in the nation with 126 kills on the young season.

No. 15 Texas A&M had an up-and-down week. The defending national champions started the week with a top-five victory over then-No. 4 Stanford in the ACC/SEC Challenge, powered by Kyndal Stowers' third consecutive match with at least 10 kills. The Aggies then suffered a setback at home, falling to Wisconsin in a five-set thriller that marked the season debut of Badgers' outside/opposite hitter Decelise Champion.

No. 6 Wisconsin, however, was unable to complete a sweep of its trip through the Lone Star State, as the Badgers later fell to Texas in four sets to close out the weekend.

Elsewhere, No. 9 Penn State swept Stanford in straight sets to give the Cardinal a 0-2 week against top-ranked opponents. Purdue traveled to the Bahamas and swept the Paradise Invitational, picking up two quality wins against Houston and SMU. Outside hitter Addy Tindall had 31 kills in two games for the Boilermakers.
