Target shoppers will soon be able to buy Slickhair's viral anti-frizz and flyaway products in stores nationwide as the Australian hair brand joins Target Beauty Studio ahead of the retailer's prestige
beauty rollout.

The brand will launch Sept. 10 in more than 600 Target stores and online at target.com, according to a community announcement. The launch gives shoppers in-store access to Slickhair's styling collection, including its best-selling Slick Stick flyaway wand, smoothing products and styling tools.
Founded in Melbourne, Australia, in 2019, Slickhair was created after founder and CEO Mia Plecic struggled to find a quick way to smooth frizz and flyaways without redoing an entire hairstyle. The result was the Slick Stick, a serum-based wand designed to tame flyaways and baby hairs in seconds.
What began as a single-product business has since expanded into a global styling brand with products sold across Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe and the Middle East, according to the announcement.
"As a female-founded, fully bootstrapped business, landing a partnership like this has been a dream since the beginning of Slickhair," said Mia Plecic, Founder and CEO of Slickhair.
Viral hair products are heading to Target shelves
The Target Beauty Studio launch marks the first time many shoppers will be able to browse Slickhair products in stores rather than discovering the brand online.

Products available at launch include:
- Slick Stick
- Wax Stick
- Anti-Flyaway Gel Duo
- Dream Cream
- Anti-Frizz Hair Oil
- Strong Hold Styling Gel
- Wide Smoothing Brush
- Mini Dream Cream
- Mini Slick Stick
- Mini Wax Stick
Founder says Target partnership is a major milestone
"To think that six years ago, Slickhair was just me starting with $500 in a little one-bedroom apartment, posting the Slick Stick to customers, and now, we've been hand-selected to be on the shelf at Target Beauty Studio in 611 doors across the United States. We are beyond excited to be partnering with Target."
According to the brand, the company moved more than 150,000 units into the United States before the launch to support expected demand.
What is Target Beauty Studio?
Target Beauty Studio is the retailer's new prestige beauty destination featuring 90 prestige, emerging and global beauty brands and more than 1,600 products across skincare, makeup, haircare, fragrance, bath and body and nail categories, according to the announcement.
The concept is designed to combine premium beauty brands with Target's broader beauty assortment, creating a one-stop shopping destination for consumers seeking both everyday essentials and higher-end beauty products.
Slickhair products will be available beginning Sept. 10 at Target Beauty Studio locations nationwide and online through target.com.
