Emily Compagno is moving to"The Five" full time.
Fox News Channel announced Monday, Aug. 24 that the "Outnumbered" host will become a full-time cohost of the network's top-rated panel show beginning Sept. 8, joining Greg Gutfeld, Dana Perino and Jesse Watters. Harold Ford Jr. and Jessica Tarlov will continue to rotate in the show's liberal seat.
Compagno, 46, will officially fill the seat left by Jeanine Pirro, who departed "The Five" in May 2025 after President Donald Trump named her U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia. Rotating co-hosts, including Compagno, have filled the spot since Pirro's departure.
Compagno, will leave the daily ensemble show "Outnumbered," which she has cohosted since 2021. Fox News said a rotating group of network
personalities will fill her seat until a permanent replacement is named.
Compagno, who posted the Fox announcement on Instagram set to the "Flashdance" theme song "What a Feeling," called joining "The Five" an "incredible privilege." The show celebrated its 15th anniversary last month.
"I couldn't be more honored to join 'The Five,' a team I have long admired and have been fortunate to work alongside over the years," she said.
According to Fox News, the program averaged 3.6 million viewers during the second quarter of 2026 and 322,000 viewers in the key adults 25-54 demographic, marking its 19th consecutive quarter as cable news' most-watched program.
Compagno, an attorney and former NFL Oakland Raiders cheerleader, joined Fox News as a contributor in 2018. She is also the author of the 2024 New York Times bestseller "Under His Wings: How Faith on the Front Lines Has Protected American Troops."
