Apparently, Oklahoma didn't get the memo that it's supposed to be fall, not monsoon season. After getting roughly five inches of rain in just two days, I came to a very unfortunate realization: My 6-year-old was completely unprepared for this kind of weather.
With more rainy days inevitably ahead this fall, I decided it was time to do something about our seriously lacking rain gear situation. Naturally, I turned to Amazon and shopped around for a while.
In my Amazon haul, I picked up a pair of kids' Crocs rain boots for $34.99, a waterproof rain jacket for $19.99, and an adorable Totes kids' dome umbrella for $25. That's an entire rainy-day setup for under $80—and hopefully one less thing I'll have to worry about the next time Oklahoma decides
to turn into a swimming pool.
Here's everything I bought to keep my kiddo dry without spending a fortune.
