For the second time this season, Pat McAfee and ESPN's "College GameDay" are staying in the same state for back-to-back shows.
This time, it's happening in the Hoosier State.
Shortly after Notre Dame's 35-13 victory over Navy on Saturday, ESPN announced that the Fighting Irish will host the three-hour pregame show on Saturday, Nov. 7, ahead of their highly anticipated top-five showdown against No. 1 Miami at Notre Dame Stadium.

Next Saturday's show will mark the 13th time "College GameDay" has visited Notre Dame's
campus in South Bend, and the 43rd overall appearance for the Fighting Irish on the show. "College GameDay" was last in South Bend for Notre Dame's win over Indiana in the first round of the College Football Playoff in December of 2024.
It was widely expected that "College GameDay" would go to South Bend in Week 10 at the start of the season for the heavyweight matchup between Notre Dame and Miami, barring any drastic upsets by either team. The Hurricanes head into their Week 9 matchup against North Carolina on Saturday sitting at a perfect 7-0 record, while the Fighting Irish's win over the Midshipman put them back in the win column after a Week 7 loss on the road at BYU.
Another storyline to the matchup is the fact that the College Football Playoff selection committee used the head-to-head tiebreaker between Miami and Notre Dame in its final CFP top 25 rankings of 2025. That decision by the committee kept the Irish out of the 12-team CFP field, and ultimately out of the postseason, as they declined an invitation to the Pop-Tarts Bowl against BYU.
Notre Dame is 8-4 with "College GameDay" in town. Here's a look some of those past results:
- 2024: Notre Dame 27, Indiana 17 (CFP First-Round)
- 2023: Ohio State 17, Notre Dame 14
- 2020: Notre Dame 47, Clemson 40 (2OT)
- 2018: Notre Dame 24, Michigan 17
Notre Dame and Miami are set for a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff next Saturday on NBC.
