Capri Sun fans have grown up, and now, the juice brand says it's time for their pouches to do the same.
The Kraft Heinz Company, which holds the exclusive license to manufacture and distribute Capri Sun products in the United States, is releasing a refillable 24-fluid-ounce Capri Sun pouch that measures just over nine inches tall, over six inches wide and can hold three times the juice that comes in the smaller pouches, the brand said in a recent news release.
The large, limited-edition pouch will release in mid-September and will be sold exclusively on Walmart.com. Although the pouch won't come filled with juice, the juice brand said it could in the future.
"Before exploring a permanent version, the brand created a limited run of refillable Big
Pouches as a fun way for fans to experience the bigger format and share their feedback," Capri Sun told USA TODAY on Sept. 17.
Calling the Capri Sun Big Pouch "fans’ No. 1 request," Kraft Heinz said supporters have submitted thousands of requests for a bigger pouch and nearly 80% of recent requests have been for a bigger pouch size.
Claire Lukaszewski, associate brand director of Capri Sun, said in a statement that fans feel strongly about Capri Sun pouch drinks.
"There’s an emotional connection to this brand that spans generations, and we don’t take that for granted," Lukaszewski said. "We want our fans to have a meaningful role in shaping what we do and the Big Pouch is one way we’re putting that belief into practice."

Where can I get a Capri Sun Big Pouch?
The Big Pouch costs $6 and will be sold at Walmart.com beginning Sept. 21. Pouches will be released daily through Sept. 24, while supplies last.
Can I reuse my Capri Sun Big Pouch?
The Capri Sun Big Pouch can hold up to 24 fluid ounces, although 20 fluid ounces will give customers "a more comfortable fill," the brand told USA TODAY on Sept. 17.
"The pouch can be refilled and resealed for supersized sipping again and again," the brand said. "To keep every sip tasting its best, fans should clean and care for the pouch between uses."
Will the Big Pouch become a fixture in the Capri Sun lineup?
The Big Pouch will be a limited release this month, but Capri Sun said it could become a staple in the future.
"Fans can share feedback using #CapriSunBigPouch to help determine whether the Big Pouch earns a permanent spot in the Capri Sun lineup," the company said.

Other large Kraft Heinz releases
This isn't the first time Kraft Heinz has released its products in larger sizes. The move comes two years after the brand announced Capri Sun Multi-Serve, the company’s 96-fluid-ounce jug. That’s 32 pouches' worth of fruit punch.
Last year, the company also released its Solstice Pouch, a 15-inch pouch that held about 20 fluid ounces of juice and came with a long yellow straw. The product sold out in minutes on June 16 and June 17.
And in December, Walmart shoppers couldn’t wait to get their hands on the food manufacturer’s 65-inch, flatscreen-sized box of macaroni and cheese. The $19.37 box contained 65 smaller boxes of Kraft Mac & Cheese.
