Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar's teenage son will have you seeing double.
In an Oct. 26 Instagram post, Gellar, 49, posted photos from her excursion over the weekend supporting their 14-year-old son Rocky Prinze's go-kart racing hobby. In the photos, Rocky Prinze is sporting a new close-cropped haircut, which dad Freddie Prinze Jr., 50, documented on Instagram nearly a week prior.
Rocky Prinze had longer brown locks in the photo she shared for his birthday a month prior. With this shorter style, he resembles his dad in the early aughts, when he occasionally had hair that was shorn into a buzzcut.
Freddie Prinze Jr. stepped out with this shorter style while promoting "Summer Catch" in 2001 and also when he received his star on the
Hollywood Walk of Fame in December 2004, among other occasions.
Rocky Prinze is the couple's youngst child and has been documenting his racing accomplishments on Instagram – with Freddie Prinze Jr. also sharing photos and videos of his son taking laps on the racetrack – since late August. In an Aug. 31 post, he shared that when he was in kindergarten, he wrote that his dream was to race cars someday.
Gellar and Prinze Jr. also share a 17-year-old daughter, Charlotte Grace.

The two, who met while filming the 1997 horror classic, "I Know What You Did Last Summer," celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary on Sept. 1.
"@realfreddieprinze can you imagine telling these kids where they would be 24 years later (well tech 26… but 24 married)," Gellar wrote in an Instagram post with a carousel of photos of them from the early 2000s.
"Sarah and I became really, really good friends on that movie, long before we ever went on a date together," Prinze Jr. told USA TODAY while promoting the 2025 sequel film "I Know What You Did Last Summer."
He added, "We were just cool. I was always grateful for that relationship, even before we started dating. We started dating by accident. It just kind of happened."
