College football is wild, wonderful and chaotic.
And, occasionally, it's wildly impolite.
Just ask Lane Kiffin following No. 25 Kentucky's 35-34 overtime win over No. 10 LSU
in Lexington, Kentucky. Immediately following Kenny Minchey's game-winning QB keeper on the 2-point conversion, Wildcats fans stormed Kroger Field to celebrate the top-10 victory.KENTUCKY WALKS OFF NO. 10 LSU IN OT!

And Kentucky fans film themselves flipping off Lane Kiffin as he exits the field.

At least three of those Kentucky fans, however, were more interested in getting a couple extra (figurative) shots at Kiffin before returning to celebrate with the remainder of the fan base. Cameras caught the raucous fans following the LSU coach as he was escorted off the field, flipping him off as he left.
Here's a closer look at Kiffin's exit:

It's not immediately evident why the fans sought to follow Kiffin as he exited the field. (It's possible that he simply is a lightning-rod coach following his well-documented exit from Mississippi, and the young fans got caught up in the moment.)
It's also possible they took umbrage with LSU posting a viral — and fake — quote, ostensibly used to motivate the Tigers' defense. The fake quote, attributed to Minchey: "LSU's defense hasn't seen anyone like us and our offensive line yet."
Kentucky itself acknowledged it following the win:

Regardless of the reason, if there was any, Kentucky will stand to lose a pretty penny after its fans stormed the field: $500,000 according to updated SEC policies.
It's a price that Kentucky almost certainly will be happy to pay.
