The Chicago White Sox are one win away from winning a playoff series for the first time since 2005.
After a 6-3 win in Game 1 against the Astros, both Chicago and Houston are back at it on Wednesday for Game 2 of the 2026 MLB wild card series.
If Houston wins Game 2, a decisive Game 3 will be played on Thursday, Oct. 1. If Chicago wins on Wednesday, the White Sox set up a rivalry matchup in the American League Division Series against the Cleveland Guardians
