Chad Lowe's 17-year-old daughter, Mabel, has shared a touching tribute following the death of her younger sister, Fiona Hepler Lowe.
The actor-director's 13-year-old daughter died in a hospital on Sept. 29, and the manner of her death was determined to be a suicide, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner
In a heartfelt Instagram post shared Saturday, Oct. 3, Mabel shared multiple photos of her and Fiona growing up together. The post includes photos of them smiling at a beach, holding hands while crossing a street and sitting across from each other on a red wagon stroller.
"I love you so much fiona ❤️," she wrote. "i wish your short time here was easier and i hope your mind is at ease now. I will honor you forever and keep
your memory alive. I love you, i hope you knew just how much."

The post also includes a video of the two, younger, dancing together while Fiona sports a butterfly costume.
Fiona and Mabel are the daughters of "Life Goes On" star Chad Lowe, 58, and casting director Kim Painter, 52.
The couple, who married in August 2020, welcomed Mabel in May 2009 and Fiona in November 2012. They also welcomed daughter Nixie Barbara Lowe in 2016.

In a statement shared with People on Sept. 29, the family wrote that they "are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona," who they added was "a loving young girl who was smart, creative, and loved to dance."
"She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents," they continued. "In fact, she was the light of our lives. Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time."
Charles "Chuck" Lowe, the father of actors Chad and Rob Lowe, shared a tribute on Instagram Sept. 30 with a photo of Fiona smiling in a swimming pool and a caption that read "Rest in peace sweet Fiona."
Chad's former "Bones" costar David Boreanaz also paid tribute to Fiona in an Oct. 1 Instagram post extending his "deepest condolences" to the Lowe family, including "friends Chad and Kim" and "beautiful soul Fiona."
